Nadine C. Russell is an associate lawyer practicing in the family law group at Siskinds LLP. Her practice encompasses all areas of family law including property division, support issues, custody and access, adoptions, and marriage contracts.

The bulk of Nadine’s work revolves around the breakdown of a relationship. Nadine’s goal is to protect and advance her clients’ interests and achieve a reasonable, favourable outcome in every case. This is best achieved through the negotiation of a Separation Agreement, which is the most cost-effective process for separated parties. Nadine is a proponent of Collaborative Practice, utilizing a team-based approach and a commitment by both parties to resolve matters amicably outside of court.

Family law can be an emotional area of law. Nadine is known to her clients as being straight-forward and practical with her legal advice, while at the same time being sensitive to the needs and concerns of her clients.

Nadine is from Essex, Ontario. She graduated with distinction from the University of Windsor with an Honours B.A. in Psychology & Criminology. Nadine then went on to complete her legal studies on the west coast of Canada, obtaining an LL.B. from the University of Victoria. Prior to joining Siskinds for her articling year, Nadine worked during law school with the B.C. provincial government, assisting in the management of a contract with a private sector service provider, and spent one summer working at a boutique law firm in Victoria which specialized in tax law.
