Karen Stephenson is a graduate of the University of Western Ontario and the University of Ottawa and was called to the Ontario Bar in 1996. Karen has practiced family law as a sole-practitioner in London, Ontario for 16 years. After having a decision published in the Dominion Law Reports in 1999 and having two children in 2000 and 2003 she chose to stop litigating to focus on negotiated settlements and collaborative law to resolve family law disputes. Since 2000 Karen is a frequent instructor and consultant at Westervelt College in the Law Clerks program. Karen is a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada and the Middlesex Family Law Association as well as the IACP (International Academy of Collaborative Professionals).
